The Blues were back to winning ways in emphatic fashion away to temporary league leaders TIC Dynamos. A first half blitz looks to have ended TIC's faint hopes of winning their first ever Premier Division, they simply couldn't cope with continuous Storeys pressure resulting in a 4-0 half time lead. The first goal came after 20 minutes when Stirzaker latched on to a Sanderson through ball on the left wing beating two players on his way towards goal and cutting the ball back for Steven Miller to slot home his 5th goal of the season. A second soon followed when Sanderson clipped the ball forward to Stirzaker whos header found Chris Park on the edge of the six yard box, Park with expert technique volleyed the ball right footed into the roof of the net giving the keeper no chance of saving. Two was soon three when a Steve Miller corner was side foot volleyed straight into the bottom corner of the goal by Captain Andrew Sanderson taking his tally for the season to an immpressive 24 goals. The goals continued to fly in as Bob Eccles made it for. A long throw in from Gammon was flicked on by Stirzaker to be met by Eccles who sent a bullet header in off the underside of the bar. The second half as expected was a much tighter affair with Dynamos pulling a goal back through a Paul Gribbin penalty, their second of the game as Steve Wiggins saw his earlier spot kick strike the top of the crossbar and behind for a goal kick. Substitute Chris Hobbs scored Storeys 5th goal with a superb "grass cutter" of a strike from 25 yards. A fantastic performance showing the rest of the league that Storeys are very much still on course to claim back the league title from rivals Marsh United.
